Tekno Race Report:
Tekno RC had a great weekend of racing in the 200+ entry Top Gun Shootout at San Diego RC Raceway. Being Tekno RC's home track, Tekno vehicles came out in force. Throughout the 2 day event, it was evident that the 4wd Short Course and 1/8th Scale E-Buggy classes were dominated by Tekno cars. In the 4wd SC Sportsman class, the Tekno SCT410 swept the podium with Nick Gildark coming in first, follow by Matt Thornton and Alyssa Dunn. In the 1/8th buggy Sportsman class Matt Thornton came back to the podium with his EB48. Pulling out a first place finish Matt was followed by Jeff Gapp in a respectable third with his EB48. In the PRO4 Class Tekno RC's Barry Baker had an exciting race placing 3rd behind Matt Olson and Dustin Evans. In the Expert 1/8th Buggy, Barry was able to pull off another podium finish with his EB48 coming in second behind Steve Hartson. Tekno RC's Pres Ilog would round out the 3rd podium spot with his EB48. This was an awesome weekend of racing and we look forward to being back next year.
