XRAY Race Report:
The 2012 Swiss 1/8 Offroad Championship made its way to Bassecourt for the final round. The weather looked good up until raceday. Rain soaked the track and continued to pour down on the racers all weekend long. 82 total drivers attended the race, with most of them choosing to battle the mud for the final round.
Team XRAY's, Robin Frischkopf, was on hand with his new XB9 buggy. Despite very little practice he was able to TQ one round of qualifying and start 4th in the semi-final. Frischkopf equipped his buggy with aggressive spike tires that would slowly lose traction during the semi-final as the track began to dry out finishing up 5th.
In the final it would be Joachim Kallen who would walk away the winner, but the XRAY of Frischkopf would work its way to 2nd, giving Robin the 2012 Swiss Championship title!
