XRAY Race Report:
The onroad 2012 Swedish Cup is a 7 race series. The top 3 finishes from the first 6 rounds are counted, followed up by a Cup Final race. This year the Cup Final was in Orebro.
The Swedish weather played a major role in this year's Cup series as several rounds were plagued with rain, while others were dry and sunny. Smooth, consistent driving combined with crucial setup changes were a must in the tricky conditions. The Hellquist brother and sister team proved all of the above by finishing 1st and 2nd in the Swedish Cup Series!
Markus Hellquist, reigning 2011 Cup Champion, would drive his NT1 to victory at the Cup Final securing the gold. Erika Hellquist finished a 5th overall at the Cup Final which combined with her series points gave her the silver medal for 2012!
