Losi's popular 8ight platform is returning to kit form for all you die-hard wrenching enthusiasts!
Under the racey nameplate of TLR, the 8ight 2.0 and 8ightT 2.0 will soon be released as kits.
The rides appear to consist of the same stuff one would find in a 'Race Roller' version, only it comes scattered in a million little pieces. For most of us dudes, this is exactly how we like our toy cars- in a million pieces. Because we all know that building kits is a knuckle-jamming good time!
In all seriousness, if you haven't built a kit before, do yourself a favor and do so. You will realize why the demand for a kit is so high. Building a kit can be a beneficial experience, both because it helps you learn the ins and outs of your vehicle and because (most) of us enjoy creating stuff with our bare hands. (Why else would you get into a sport that involves such tiny and complex machinery?)
The kits should be available in late March, according to the TLR website.
