The United States couldn't be more proud of Team Kyosho's Cody King after bringing home the world championship trophy in 2010 from Pattaya, Thailand. As it is once again a year for the 1:8 Offroad World Championship, Cody and his mechanic / father are preparing to do battle and defend their crown.
Cody has updated his new CodyKingRC.com site with some updated pics from this year's IFMAR Worlds venue and battlegrounds. Surprisingly the track looks to have a rather "American-style" supercross layout with tricky rythm sections, technical doubles, and big air (as opposed to the more traditional Euro-style tracks most often seen at World Championship events).
Here is what Cody has to say about the facility and upcoming World's Warm-Up Race in September 2012:
The IFMAR 1:8 Nitro Buggy World Championship is coming to Buenos Aires Arentina, and there is great anticipation of the warm-up event in just under 3 months time. Here you can see the track is coming together. This will be a very important time for all the manufacturer’s to test fuel, chassis, rubber, and all the components required to give some driver a chance to win.
