Thunder Alley Press Release:
2012 is just around the corner and Thunder Alley RC Raceway has a great racing season in store.
Starting out with the 3rd Year of the VERY popular Grass Roots Racing Series. Last years series averaged 160 entries and provided some great racing with the 3 tracks involved. 2012 season has a few tweaks that should benefit everyone. The Electric classes will run on one of the days and the Nitro classes & E-Buggy classes on the other. Shorter race days and added classes are the benefits.
Also added this year @ TA are 2 new races and a new summer series. In May, the "Infamous" Michael Vincent is bringing a EVENT not just a race to a different level and outside the "NORMAL" race atmosphere. More info shortly!
June brings the Byrons Fuel Western Off-Road Challenge to the west coast. This is a one day event but will be a contingency race with cash available from Byrons. This race also will be used as a warm-up race being just 2 weeks before the ROAR 1/8 Off-Road Nats in PA.
The new Series will be called Summer Heat and will be based on the same format and rules as the GRRS. Thunder Alley & Hemet Competition Raceway will be the host tracks of the 5 race series.
So look for a Great racing season in SoCal in 2012!
