October 12, 2011 – Thunder Power RC is happy to announce the Z3R 540 Brushless Motors are now BRCA approved for use in the association’s sanctioned events throughout the United Kingdom. Thunder Power RC will now appear in the homologation lists for Brushless Motors approved by the BRCA’s Electric Board. For those who enjoy oval to touring, stadium to short course in the United Kingdom, there’s a BRCA approved Thunder Power RC Z3R 540 brushless motor perfect for out-powering the competition. Z3R-S Stock Spec motors are available in 10.5T, 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T winds, and Z3R-M Modified motors are available in 3.0T, 3.5T, 4.0T, 4.5T, 5.5T, 6.0T, 6.5T, 7.5T, 8.5T and 9.5T winds – all ROAR and BRCA approved and ready to race at sanctioned events and beyond.

Z3R motors are easy to maintain and tune with a fully re-buildable design and are supported by a full line of replacement and option parts, including ROAR approved tuning rotors, that keeps them optimized and on the track. Each motor is constructed from high-quality materials including a balanced, high-strength neodymium rotor, high-temperature coated copper wire and plated copper solder tabs, while features including easy-to-set adjustable timing from 0—50 degrees and fast-switching, high-temp sensors make it easy to maximize performance.
