Hobby Pro USA Turnbuckle Wrench Set
Adjusting your turnbuckles can be a gruesome process without the correct tools. Many car kits include cheap plastic or low-quality turnbuckle wrenches designed to make initial adjustments, however, are known to quickly wear out, can be hard to use, and can leave scratches and marks on your blingin' turnbuckles. Worse than that is not having turnbuckle wrenches of any sort, and turning to needle nose pliers to make adjustments (a sure way to ruin the look of your turnbuckles).
To our turnbuckle adjusting relief, the crew at Hobby Pro USA hooked us up with their new CNC machined turnbuckle wrench set. The set includes three different size wrenches (5.0mm, 4.0mm, and 3.5mm), which are also available to purchase individually as well for $6.99 each. The wrenches are made up of CNC machined aluminum handles that are colored black and clearly labeled with sizing. The tips of each wrench are made from steel.
Pros:
- Lightweight and conveniently sized to carry in your toolbox.
- Tips are wide which provide plenty of surface contact, and minimizes slippage.
- Aluminum handles provide comfortable grip and feel.
- Steel tips fit snug on turnbuckles which helps to also prevent slipping and damage.
Conclusion:
The Hobby Pro USA turnbuckle wrenches are among some of the most convenient, economically priced, and best performing turnbuckle wrenches we have used. For the cost of one from many other manufacturers, you get a set of three from Hobby Pro. If you aren't feeling the urge to fill your toolbox with turnbuckle wrenches, you have the option to by them individually. The wrenches look good, fit good, work good, and seem to hold up good as well. These wrenches aren't necessarily required to have, but trust us, once you use them you will throw your cheapy kit wrenches away for good.

Elliott Boots driving style
FREE with price of admission
When your driving through downtown and you spot that guy walking down the sidewalk with a fur coat, top hat with a feather, gold teeth, and a diamond covered cane...you instantly think to yourself, "Man that guy's got swag." There is hundreds of people walking around him in the downtown area, but you don't notice any of them because they all look so much alike, but that ONE guy is straight up struttin' his stuff. You don't know much about him, you've never met him, but with such unique style and swag you can't help but like him.
In the R/C world, THAT fur coat wearing guy with more style than almost anyone on the track (in my opinion) is Elliott Boots. I've never met the guy, I know very little about him, but what I do know is that EVERYTIME I see his car hit the track he's got style. Whether he is in first or last, the guy makes R/C look good.
Here is just one example to prove my point:
Pros:
- He makes R/C look like your watching AMA Supercross.
- His driving style makes you WANT to go drive your R/C car.
- Inspires others to "Go big or go home".
Cons:- Inspires you to want to whip your car...often resulting in major crashes and damage.
- Makes you want to move to England to attend whatever school of style he graduated from.
- Does not wear an actual fur coat while driving with such style.
Conclusion:
There are a LOT of great drivers out there, and a LOT of them have great style of their own. By no means am I trying to take away from anyone else, all that I am saying is if you are attending a race (or watching it on LiveRC) that Elliott Boots is racing...no matter what place he gets, you won't be disappointed.
