Thursday Testimonials: Race Ready Products Cleaners

This week we brought out the #ThursdayTestimonials, Race Ready Products sent over their favorite cleaning and polishing items for a test run!

Race Ready Products is an American based company specializing in cleaners and polishing compounds for RC car racing. Jason Miller and his crew were kind enough to send over their three main products for some review.

I took a couple of weeks to use these products on new kit builds, after racing at the carpet track, and after a couple of local 1/8th scale nitro races to get the full cleaning experience.

TQ Clean 2.0: TQ Clean is the main product in the RRP stable, this is a light cleaner that leaves very little if any residue and sprays on and blows off quickly. This product is ideal for cleaning in between race rounds and when needing a cleaner for dirt and carpet applications.

We did notice that in heavy wet dirt or mud situations it might take a little more elbow grease with the TQ Clean to get everything spotless, but the trade off is that it is really light on bearings and drivetrain parts that are susceptible to harsher chemical cleaners.

TQ Shine: TQ Shine is a good smelling light cleaner for bodies and plastics that leaves everything with a nice shine again without leaving residue. The chemical dries quickly and leaves applications looking nice and shiny.

P1 Metal Polish: This might be my favorite of the trio, P1 is a light liquid metal polish for hinge pins and other metal accessories. This stuff smells great, and works awesome as a light polishing agent to make sure suspension components are nice and smooth!

In Conclusion, these products definitely get the thumbs up for competition racing, they make cleaning and maintenance easier and you can tell definite thought was taken in formulation specifically for competition RC applications.
