Istanbul would host the first R/C race of it's kind last weekend for the country of Turkey. It all started as a joke, drivers racing for 2 hours without pit crew or corner marshalls. Ciddi Amator took the idea and introduced the Last Man Standing 2012!
 
Only 10 drivers were invited to the event. They were required to pit and corner marshall their own cars, but could NOT help other drivers in any way by pitting or corner marshalling their car. For 2 straight hours, the drivers ran on and off the drivers stand pitting and marshalling. 
 
 
After what seemed to be a never ending 120 minute main event, it would be TLR's Alain Sarafyan who was in fact the Last Man Standing for 2012!
