The 'Colorado-Connection' will remain intact under theumbrella of Team Losi Racing, LiveRC.com has learned.
The two ROAR Nats A-main finalists have confirmed they have re-signed with TLRfor the upcoming race season.
With TLR poised to gain a lot more attention with therelease of their forthcoming 2WD buggy, and with the national R/C sceneseemingly swaying towards electric again, the two ‘e-specialists’ will look tomake themselves household names to folks in the industry who may not have heardof them yet due to their lack of abundant, high-level nitro racing results.
When reached for comment on the signing, the two had the following tosay:
"I look forward to continuing the great relationship I have with myteammates and all the people behind the scenes at TLR." -Matt Chambers
"TLR has supported me from the get-go...and with such great people involved, I am really looking forward to the 2011 season." -Dustin Evans
As you may remember, Chambers and Evans were the first two drivers to publiclydebut the brand-new TLR '22' last December. It wasn't expected that the driverswould leave TLR, especially after being the first to get the keys to abrand-new rig. However, in this day and age, nothing is for certain until it isin writing...and now it is.
Chambers and Evans should play a big part in Losi's attack on the electricscene this year. Along with the unexpected launching of an all-new electricbuggy, Losi also re-branded its racing division (TLR) in an effort to showcasethat the company has not forgotten its extensive racing history and the ideologythat the company was founded on.
As hard-core electric racers, Chambers and Evans fit the image that TLR istrying to portray perfectly, and we wish them nothing but the best in 2011.
