Tom Rinderknecht announces AE departure

In yet another surprise announcement for Silly Season the young rising star and ROAR Nationals A-Main finalist from Iowa, Tom Rinderknecht, has announced his departure from Team Associated. Rumor on the street is he will be jumping ship to join TLR, however, that has yet to be confirmed and is purely rumor and speculation at this time.

In a social media post from this evening Tom stated:

"80/35 Raceway, my local track at the time. I raced purely for fun and just started to become competitive in stock buggy at my local track. Mack Vanderbeek saw something in me and got me a ride for Team Associated. I didn’t even know you could get sponsored in RC when I did. The instant I got on the team, got cars that worked right I was automatically so much faster then I was before, I was able to travel to races that I had never been and my racing took off from there. Over this time Brent, Mack my family and many others allowed me to become the person and racer I am today. I would not be racing or have met all of my best friends and gone to the places I’ve been without them. The time, money and effort put in by them means so much to me and the friendships created will be cherished forever. But after lots of hard thought I have decided to part ways with Team Associated and Reedy and I wish them nothing but the best in the future. I’m pumped for what the future has to hold for me and I can’t wait to start my new journey."
