Ty Tessman wins both buggy and truggy at the ROAR 1:8 Fuel Nats Warm-Up

This past weekend Gulf Coast Raceway in Porter, Texas hosted the ROAR 1:8 Offroad Nationals Warm-up race. The covered outdoor track proved to be a challenge for many drivers, and tire wear was HIGH in both buggy and truggy classes. Hot Bodies team driver, Ty Tessman, would TQ and win both Open Buggy and Open Truggy classes over TLR's Adam Drake and Mugen's Barry Pettit.

Tessman finished out 2012 winning the 1:8 Buggy, Truggy, AND E-Buggy National Championships. Can he do it again for 2013?

With just over a month until the ROAR 1:8 Offroad Fuel Nationals, whether they were in attendance of the warm-up or not, the nation's best drivers are ALL gearing up to do battle in the Texas heat!
