By replacing his previous Facebook "cover" photo with this image, which XRAY published along with the initial press release of his original signing in February, Tyler Vik basically confirmed that the 2014 Nor-Cal Pro Series champ is staying put for next season. One of the fastest nitro racers in the U.S. over several seasons, Vik made the A-Main at The Dirt Nitro Challenge and ROAR Nationals in 1/8-Scale Buggy, and finished in the 1/8 Finals at this year's IFMAR Worlds in Messina.
Upon changing the image on the popular social media site, which included no further comment, Vik's Facebook friends chimed in with messages of support such as:

Sources say that confirmation of a deal for 2015 was the happiest that Vik had been since his Oakland Raiders won their first game in over a year.
