One of the most "grass roots" forms of R/C racing over the years has been parking lot on-road racing. While the popularity of on-road parking lot races has settled down from what it was in the 1990's, the concept is bringing off-road racing back to Chicago. After the closure of all three Chicagoland R/C racing tracks, the new UltraFast RC Raceways idea was born, and put into full effect to provide off-road parking lot races on carpet/turf!

This is not only a positive move for the off-road racing scene in Chicago, but a brilliant idea worth sharing around the globe to continue the growth of our hobby.
