SOR (Stuck On Racing) Graphics have shared with us a small sneak peek of their latest product development, this time outside the sticker world. The SOR crew are working to develop a mid-motor conversion kit for the Kyosho RB5. The intention is to allow current RB5 owners to convert to a mid-motor Kyosho, without having to purchase an all-new kit. SOR says, "We wanted a midmotor option without the $450 pricetag of an RB6."
The new conversion features a carbon fiber chassis, and uses the RB5 front and rear ends. According to our sources, three of the SOR mid-motor conversions were in action this past weekend at Mike's R/C World in Bellingham, Washington and "seemed very planted and smooth."
At this time it is unsure when this conversion kit will actually be put into production and become available to the public, but we look forward to seeing more of it soon.
