Viper R/C Race Report:
Viper Team Driver Josh Ford and Team Manager took care of business this weekend at the opening round of the Minnesota Off-Road Series in Staples, MN. Josh had set the pace to beat during qualifying with his Copperhead R.51 Powered Mugen Eco-ST by setting the TQ position, and Viper Team Manager Dave Beam took the win running a Losi SCTE with the R.51 System also. Half the field was running Viper Copperhead Systems, either the R.45 or R.51 versions.
Team Manager Dave Beam set TQ and took the win in Pro2 with his Viper powered TLR XXX-SCT, running a VTX10R ESC and VST6.5BE motor. The setup had proved to be a very drivable and consistent setup for the entire weekend.
