VP-Pro Products have announced their new 1/10 tires for 2wd buggy and short course. The new tires are made up of VP-Pro's FLEXX compound rubber and are available in several different tread patterns. For the 2wd front they offer 2 different types of ribs (square and rounded), and a tread that they call Friction. The Friction tire is similar to a "Taper-Pin" or "Barcode" style tread pattern that we are seeing more and more of. For the rear end, VP-Pro offers two options at this time. The Axman appears to be similar to a "Bowtie" like tread, and the Turbo Trax more of a "Holeshot" style tire. As for short course tires, the Axman is currently the only tread available.
These new tires are available from VP-Pro USA starting at $9.50 per pair.
