This past weekend we saw over 80 entries at the annual Protoform Cup. It was held at the famous Steel City Raceway with a lot of new faces making the trip out to California. The modified field saw a lot of close racing throughout the weekend. Track was shortened to accommodate more close racing and traction was high. My car was working well all weekend and it was a blast to drive around the track. With three rounds of qualifying and superpole, I was able to take the overall TQ.
There was a lot of racing on Sunday as every class had triple mains. I had a lot of fun battling with Randy Caster all weekend and I was able to hold him off to take the win. The entire Xray team looked strong all weekend with 3 cars finishing in the top 5.
