The #Sweet16KChallenge gives the Final 16 Drivers at the Scotty Ernst Straigthline Showdown Outlaw Class an opportunity to enter their three-digit decimal portion of their Elapsed Time into a computer after each pass to see if it matches the Pre-Determined Three Digit Code and win $16,000! No matter if you win or lose in the Round of 16, Round of 8, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals or Final Round, each driver gets to enter in their Elapsed Time for a chance to Win $16,000!

With over 250 Entries expected and only 16 Drivers able to qualify for the chance to win $16,000, the 2022 Straight Line Showdown Drag Race is shaping up to be one of the biggest events in R/C Racing for all of 2022.  

The Showdown will consist of a Double Elimination format meaning drivers will have to lose twice to be eliminated from the event which is spread over three days of racing from July 29th to July 31st in Union Grove, WI hosted at The Great Lakes Dragway.

The entire event will be broadcast on LIVERC.com, to include almost every race, every round and driver interviews. This enhancement will give the viewers an unprecedented involvement in the event.
