Wise won F1 at Virginia State Championships

Franchise Racing headed down south a bit to run at the 2015 Virginia State Championships held at MBR Speed Shop, in Salem Virginia. With drivers from Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina as well as host state Virginia in attendance, Mike Wise was able to pull out a TQ in the F1 class as well as the Championship, using the new FRPS1 Wing End Plates! Mike had removed the center cutouts to help free up the rear of the car as well as using the product to shed a little weight off the rear for more overall rotation. Mike was able to set TQ in the second round of qualifying, then reset it again in round 3 improving his overall time. Then in the main he opened up a 3 second gap over second place and never looked back for the win!

Mike also ran in a highly contested TC Class that featured some pretty stiff drivers from the surrounding states. He used the FRP body stiffeners as well as the wing endplates, and Tire Cleaner to qualify 2nd overall. In the main after a 3 car freight train separated from the pack, Mike made an unforced error, and slipped to 3d, and that he held till the end.
