We start round 2 on a very sunny and hot morning here at the Fengtai Sports Arena and the track is in much better condition than the previous mornings. Lap times are definitely heading south with the added sun provided grip, but the heat is cooking tires and the traction window will start to play a crucial part in the 5 minute qualfying runs today.

Once again it was the incredibly fast Bruno Coelho blazing the field to take his 3rd TQ of the worlds. There is only one driverwho could knock Coelho off of TQ at this point and that would be Yokomo's Ronald Volker and he would have to TQ the final 2 rounds to tie Coelho and defeat him by tie-breaker.
Having a fabulous round of qualifying in round 4 was Capricorn's Marc Fischer, who set the fastest time in the B heat ahead of Akio Sobue, Alexander Hagberg, and Marc Rheinard to set the top 5. Jumping up the field was the young Japanese rising star, Yokomo's Naoki Akiyama who was able to pull off a 6th for the round.
