The final round of qualifying is underway and the sun is out with nothing but blue skies. The weather is excellent and the temperature near 80F and projected to reach near 90F later today. The stage is set for the final round of qualifying, round 6 with triple A-mains later today along with double mains for everyone else. It's time!

With another TQ, Xray's Bruno Coelho sets the fastest time and earns his 5th TQ run out of 6. The competition is getting closer, but still not close enough. The super fast track with extremely hard braking corners and the super hot sun is causing power to fade towards the end....for some more than others which is making full 5 minute flat out run more difficult to maintain.
Round 6 once again goes to Coelho as he looks to be nearly unstoppable and one of the few drivers able to maintain his pace towards the end of the race. Xray teammate Alexander Hagberg would deliver his best round and finish ahead of Yokomo's Ronald Volker in 2nd.
Noting that his car progressively understeers more towards the end of the run, Ronald Volker was only able to hang on to the top 3 with a 3rd place run in round 6. Not fully understanding why, Team Yokomo has 1 more chance to try and fix the issue in hopes to contend with Coelho late in the race during the triple A-mains.
