Former 2WD world champion Spencer Rivkin drove his Reedy-powered Team Associated buggy to the top of the charts in round one of 4WD. He narrowly outpaced the newly-crowned 2WD titleholder Ryan Maifield at the end of the five-minute sprint, with 2015 4WD podium finisher David Ronnefalk keeping pace in the third spot.
