After his competitors made late-race mistakes, Team Orion-powered XRAY driver Ty Tessmann emerged from the second round of 4WD qualifying with the top time. With two second-place finishes, however, it's newly-crowned 2WD world champ Ryan Maifield with the points lead after two laps.
