Making a surprise rise to the front was Serpent's Viktor Wilck, who put down the fastest 3 consecutive laps by .1 second over yesterday's superstar, Xray's Bruno Coelho. As being the first to dethrone Xray's early dominate in practice, Viktor will look to keep ahead on setup and track evolution as he is seeking his 1st World title.
Still near at the sharp end, Coelho drops to p2 this round and Yokomo's Ronald Volker moves up to 3rd after being 4th and 5th throughout yesterday's free practice. Atsushi Hara maintains his quick pace to sit 5th for round 2 of seeding.
Next up is another round of controlled practice that will determine the order for the 1st round of qualifying later today.
