We received a very interesting bit of news today as X Factory UK has shared with us the new Team Azarashi conversion kit for the Team Associated B44.1 buggy. The new conversion changes everything from chassis, shock towers, to wing mounts. While the conversion kit has only been seen in action in Japan, X Factory UK is proud to announce they will be distributing the kits from the UK online soon.
The Grayseal conversion definitely puts a new a twist on the B44.1 buggy that we look forward to seeing in person hopefully soon!
X Factory UK Press Release:
Azarashi have been showing off a rather trick and neat conversion kit that they have been working on for quite some time now, well we are pleased to announce that the “Grayseal44.1” is now complete and shipping very soon. The Grayseal44.1 is, as the name suggests a conversion kit for the popular Associated RC10B44.1 4wd buggy.
The conversion kit, according to Azarashi is aimed at being simply “the COOLEST buggy in the world!”
The conversion kit includes the following parts:
- Carbon Fibre Ultra slim main chassis
- Carbon Fibre slim front top deck
- Carbon Fibre slim rear top deck
- Carbon Fibre 4mm rear shock tower (with optional wing mounting holes)
- Carbon Fibre 4mm front shock tower
- Carbon Fibre battery strap
- Low profile servo mounts and hardware
- Grayseal lexan bodyshell
- Lexan undertray
- Titanium countersunk under chassis screw set

The conversion kit is suitable for the B44 or B44.1 models (not suitable for B44.2). The combination of the lightweight but rigid main chassis and bullet proof shock towers, combined with the exclusively designed lexan body create a style not yet seen on a 4wd buggy.
The car requires the use of a low profile servo and Shortly LIPO battery (95mm long or less), full selection of spare parts available separately.
