Announcement from XRAY:

We regret to inform you that the T4'18 kits shipped until today include the shock absorber silicone O-rings 3x2 (part number #972030) which are slightly too tight. Despite the difference in thickness being very minor and not noticeable by eye, the performance difference is noticeable as the shock shaft does not move as freely as it should. We strongly recommend not using these silicon O-rings while building the shock absorbers, but rather using the silicone O-rings from previous T4 kits or replacement silicone O-rings which we will provide free of change. We will be ready to ship free replacement O-rings in a very short time.
For your free replacement O-rings, please contact your dealer or distributor where you purchased the kit. All future T4'18 kits with correct O-rings will include a sticker on the box "Updated silicone O-rings 3x2 included." If you purchase a kit that does not have that label on the box, please contact your dealer or distributor immediately (as the kit contains the improper O-rings).
Please note that the same O-rings are also used in the XB2 and XB4 where the shock absorbers have different construction with more play, and as such the O-rings will have no negative influence on shock absorbers used in XB2 and XB4.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we are working quickly to resolve this matter for all our customers.
