Race Report by Oliver Havranek

The fifth round of XRS Slovakia took place on the 16th February 2019 and was held in Hudy Arena.

In Stock, I started from 1st place to the first qualy. I won all qualifications so I had TQ. In the first final I made a big mistake so I finished second. In last two finals I won, so I won this race in stock category.

Stock results:

1.      Oliver Havranek – XRAY T4
2.       Mark Valent – XRAY T4
3.       Filip Obora – XRAY T4

Modified, all three qualifications were close but Martin Hudy took the overall TQ. We had beautiful fights in first and second final but I didn´t find a space to overtake him. In the third final Martin made a mistake and I won this final , but he took the overall win.

2. Oliver Havranek – XRAY T4
3. Marton Toth – XRAY T4

In Formula, Mark Valent took the overall TQ and also dominated the finals to take the overall win!

3. Balint Rajki – XRAY X1

In 1/10 Pan Car, Igor Liptak set the fastest time in qualies to take the overall TQ! Same story was in finals as Igor locked the win in all three finals!

2. Marek Helbich – XRAY X10
3. Zoltan Polyak – XRAY X10

In 1/12, Branislav Panak secured the overall TQ in front of Tomas Liptak! Same fight continued in finals and eventually it was Branislav who walked away with the win!

3. Zsolt Kalnay – XRAY X12

In 1/12GT, Igor Liptak took his 2nd TQ of the day and transformed it into 2nd win!

Race Report by Max Gotzl

The 5th round of Xray Racing Series Slovakia took a place last weekend in the Hudy Arena. The event saw around 170 entries together in both off and onroad, so it was the 2nd biggest XRS!

In 4WD it was as usually Martin on the pole in front of Adam and again me in 3rd. In finals, it was Martin who put great runs in A1 and A2 and secured the win. Adam Izsay took the 2nd place and me 3rd, but not that easy this time as I made some stupid mistakes.

4WD Buggy Results

1. Bayer Martin – XRAY XB4
2. Izsay Adam – XRAY XB4
3. Gotzl Max – XRAY XB4

It was for the first time in this season when Adam Izsay took the pole position on the main grid after qualies with 2WD, Martin Bayer was 2nd and me 3rd. Adam put a good run in A1 and took the win as Martin made some mistakes, the A2 went to Martin as now Adam made some mistakes, so it was all to decide in A3. Adam took a tone to tone win and with that also the overall. Martin ended up 2nd and me 3rd.

2WD Buggy Results

1. Izsay Adam – XRAY XB2
2. Bayer Martin – XRAY XB2
3. Gotzl Max – XRAY XB2

With the Truck it was me on the pole position in front of Kuba Krus and Lukasz Jedlinski. In finals, I took the win in all three finals in front of Kuba and Lukasz, so they finished in the end.
