The world has watched in disbelief and sadness as earthquakes have shattererd their way through the country of Japan over the past several months. With millions of dollars in damage, and a staggering death toll, people from all around the world have come together in support of Japan and its efforts towards recovery.

Yatabe Arena is a world class r/c facility located in Japan. Each year they are scheduled to host the Yatabe International Grand Prix which brings in top drivers from around the world. Due to the recent earthquakes the promoters have decided to cancel the International Grand Prix and replace the popular event with the Yatabe Charity Offroad Race. The Yatabe Charity Offroad Race will be taking place April 24, 2011. All of the money raised by this event will be sent to the various areas around Japan to help in the effort towards recovery and rebuilding.

It has been reported that the Yatabe Arena and its staff are all safe and unharmed despite the devastating natural disasters. However, the Yatabe Arena owners, staff, and racers are looking to work together and help raise money for those less fortunate.

We greatly admire the efforts that are being taken by the Yatabe Arena. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims and families of Japan's recent earthquakes.
