LRP Press Release:

The entry for the 15th LRP Touring Car Masters (30.03.-01.04.) is running. One of the biggest and most competitive touring car races in the world is nearing. Time to inform yourself – on the official event-website!

Rendezvous of the R/C stars, fixed appointment for all fans and first-class elite sports! The LRP Touring Car Masters has grown to significant size and standing. The event has evolved from its humble beginnings into one of the worldwide largest and most competitive Touring Car races.

Also the 15th edition will meet these high expectations. Besides tension and racing action of the highest level in the Masters class, the drivers of the LRP-HPI-Challenge will be facing off in the Rookie, Classic, Formula 1 and 17.5T classes. This is a well established system that joins the pro-event with World Championship character and Germany’s largest racing series. Also in 2012, the Rhein-Neckar-Halle in Eppelheim (near Heidelberg) will be the epicentre of the sports world for three fantastic days. Like in the past years, the MSC Eppelheim club will be LRP’s cooperation partner.

The presence of the best drivers in the world has always been a trade mark of the LRP TCM. And also for the 15th edition World Champions, European Champions, National Champions and former TCM winners will come together to fight for the victory. No other race – except the WC – is attended by this many of the worlds top drivers!
Reigning champion Ronald Völker aims to win the Masters for the third consecutive year after victories in 2010 and 2011. But the acting European Champion faces a lot of high-class competitors: Marc Rheinard from Germany, Alex Hagberg and Viktor Wilck from Sweden as well as Andy Moore from Great Britain. He will also be faced with competition out of his home country in Freddy Südhoff and Yannic Prümper.

The TCM 2012 will again see the proven action packed TCM Racing Format. The compact and more intense presentation is well proven and accepted by now. More track time, less waiting, new qualifying format and a new, thrilling A-Main stand for much more action and fun for both, drivers and spectators. The racers will fight for the victory in the following classes:
• Masters Class TC Modified
• Open Stock Class (LRP 10.5T Brushless/LiPo)

It’s already a tradition that a round of the LRP-HPI-Challenge is held at the TCM with the respective rules. There will be races in the following classes:
• LRP-HPI 17.5T-Challenge
• LRP-HPI Formula 1-Challenge
• LRP-HPI Classic-Challenge
• LRP-HPI Rookie-Challenge

All top drivers from Germany’s biggest race series join this highlight event in springtime! The Challenge Classes are open for international drivers, giving the Challenge drivers the possibility to compete with the stars of the scene!
