1/10-scale off-road racers will have their first crack at the new soil used for A Main Hobbies’ Silver Dollar RC Raceway at the upcoming World’s Warm-Up Race June 6th-9th.
World-renowned track builder Joey Christensen will be constructing the layout for the race, which is sure to be challenging with several exciting features. Top pros and aspiring privateers will want to make sure they book their travel arrangements for this race, as it will be one of the few 1/10-scale races held at Silver Dollar RC Raceway before the coveted World Championships. Wheel time will be crucial for racers who plan to compete in the IFMAR World Championships in September; the SDRCR drivers’ stand is massive and the dirt used is completely different than the high-bite clay previously seen at SDRCR. Without any prior 1/10-scale races at SDRCR, the set-up knowledge gained during the Warm-Up Race will be invaluable come late September, when the world’s fastest converge for the most prestigious prize in our sport.
