A Main Hobbies has announced today the official spec tires for the upcoming ROAR 1:10 Offroad Nationals stock classes, and the IFMAR 1:10 Offroad World Championship set to be held at Silver Dollar Raceway.
Pro-Line’s “X2” compound Suburbs and Scrubs tires have been selected for the ROAR 1/10-scale Off-Road Nationals’ stock classes. The ROAR Nationals are being hosted at A Main Hobbies’ Silver Dollar R/C Raceway August 8-11. Racers competing in the stock classes at the ROAR Nationals can purchase their tires for the event at the track during the race.
X2 Suburbs will be used for both the stadium truck and short course classes. Stock 2WD buggy racers will be required to run X2 Scrubs up front with X2 Suburbs in the rear. All tires must be used with the stock inserts that are provided with the tires. Racers can purchase as many sets of the spec tires as they’d like, but only three sets can be impounded for qualifying. A fourth set may be used if the driver qualifies for the “AAA” Main events.

IFMAR has chosen Pro-Line’s “X2” Suburbs 2.0 and Scrubs tires for this year’s IFMAR 1/10-scale Buggy World Championships. Racers will be required to use Pro-Line’s X2 Suburbs 2.0 rear tires for both the 2WD and 4WD classes with the stock foam inserts. In 4WD, racers will also be competing with Pro-Line’s X2 Scrubs front tires with the stock inserts. Tires will be available at A Main Hobbies’ Silver Dollar R/C Raceway during the event.
