CML Distribution, in the UK,  has announced an official recall on select Etronix Energy Stations.

CML says, "We have discovered that the Energy station 220 and 350 have been incorrectly designed and manufactured and could pose a potential shock hazard. If you have this product please stop using it immediately and return it to us so that we refund you. All other Etronix products are unaffected by this recall.

We have contracted trading standards and Electrical safety first to advise them of the issues and are in communication with the manufacturer in China.

CML Distribution appreciates the inconvenience this recall may cause, but we take such safety issues very seriously. Having been badly let down by our manufacturing suppliers build quality and component choice with this particular product this is the only course of action available.

We have endeavoured to make this recall as simple and seamless as possible by avoiding the need for you to take your unit back to the retailer that the unit was purchased from. Due to us currently not having a viable alternative or replacement we will be issuing a refund, details of which are outlined on the return information link. Upon receipt of the faulty unit we will send a cheque for the RRP value of the product returned. Please complete the returns form found HERE.

Once again we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this recall may cause."
