JQ rebrands as "JQ Racing," alludes to big changes for company direction

Interesting news coming from Finnish racer-turned-company owner Joseph Quagraine's JQ Products today, announcing a re-structuring of the company with a new name, new distribution plans, and a vague hint toward expansion...perhaps outside of the RC car world? We'll see. Until we hear more, here's the official word:

Well, have we got news for you today! After working behind the scenes for what seems like FOREVER, we are finally happy to announce 3 major changes at JQProducts, scratch that, JQRacing. It may seem like things have gone a bit quiet recently, but I am sure you will understand why over the coming months. Here are the first pieces of the puzzle. It will be an exciting 2014 for JQ racers, this we can guarantee!

Point 1: Due to JQProduct’s expansion plans, we have decided to re-brand our RC Racing division, “JQRacing”. From now on JQProducts will refer to the main company itself, with JQRacing being the RC Car division. Simple enough!

Point 2: It has always been our goal to start a serious race team. Now that our products are competitive, it is time to move forward with our team plans. This involves the launch of our JQ Team website, where all team info will be posted, along with it acting as a Team Store, where you can purchase everything we use to chase wins. This is obviously no small undertaking, and we will be building up stocks as we go. Feedback and ideas are greatly appreciated regarding the store!

Point 3: We have decided to take on the job of US Distribution ourselves. A Main Hobbies will continue just the same as up until now, but in the future, dealers, team drivers and regular customers will also be able to order our products off usa.jqracing.com. We are now actively looking for dealers, please everyone get your local dealers to sign up!

As you can imagine, there will be a lot of news in the coming months, for now this is it. New name, JQRacing, taking the next step with racing and creating a professional race team, and increasing our availability and visibility worldwide. Thank you for the continued support.
