The final round of qualifying in the Pro Truggy class had the entire audience watching with anticipation. With HB's Ty Tessman and TLR's Ryan Maifield both having one TQ a piece, and Ryan Cavalieri scoring second place finishes in the first two rounds, the overall was still up for grabs - making it an intense final round of qualifying. With the truggies fueled up and the loop live, this is what happened in the final round of Thursday's Day One action.

Round three saw ultra-fast Tekno RC driver Joe Bornhorst rise to the top of the field, setting the fastest lap as well as the fastest time of the round. Though the Ohio-native didn't get the results he wanted in rounds 1 and 2, Bornhorst was able to put in a mistake-free run that gave him TQ in round 3 edging out Team Associated's Ryan Cavalieri. Unfortunately, had Cavalieri TQ'd the final round, he would have earned the overall, but instead he had to settle for second in the third round which gave him the third spot on the grid. HB's Tanner Stees put in an amazing final qualifier, outpacing his super star teammate Ty Tessman by 2.5 seconds to finish third for the round.

Here are the overall points standings for the Pro Truck class:

Ryan Maifield dominated another round of qualifying in the Pro E-Buggy class and executed the perfect clean sweep - TQ'ing all 3 rounds and solidifying his position as the class's fastest driver and earning the pole position for Saturday's Truck/E-Buggy main day. TLR teammate Dakotah Phend was able to finish second with his best run yet in E-Buggy, albeit 6.3 seconds back from Maifield. Rounding out the top three was once again Tekno's Joe Bornhorst following up his excellent run in Pro Truggy.

Here's how the qualifying points finished up for the Pro Electric Buggy division:
