New M2C Racing aluminum options for HB D815 buggy

M2C is excited to announce a full range of upgrades for the acclaimed Hot Bodies D815. First, M2C has used our years of experience and racer feedback to developed two unique chassis to increase performance, combat wear issues and also to offer an alternative to the costly and hard to find extended chassis option. Both chassis are made using 1/8 inch(3.25mm) thick 7075 aircraft grade materials and clear anodized. Our testers have found that the regular chassis (M2C 8800) works best on short to medium tight tracks and the extended +4mm chassis (M2C 8805) is better on long flowing tracks like we have out west and in Europe. To run the extended chassis you must use the extended center driveshaft from Hot Bodies part #115154 which M2C offers direct from our website for convenience. In addition to the performance gains, our new rear skid plate design will greatly increase the life of the chassis and also protect the "D" block from premature wear.

Second, we have two new options for the rear hubs. To replace the optional and hard to find carbon fiber type 5 rear hub carrier arm set we have developed our own 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum arms (M2C 8815) which are anodized black for style and durability. For those wanting to run universal driveshafts on the rear of the D815 we have developed these rear uprights (M2C 8610) made from 6061-T6 aluminum made to exact same dimensions as the stock D815 rear hub except with different diameter for the inner bearing to allow for the use of the Mugen universals (Mugen 2218) while being able to use the new style rear hub carrier arms. For the front of the D815, we are offering type 4 front steering arms (M2C 8810) made of 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum for strength and also anodized black.

Lastly, M2C noticed a lack of quality electric conversion kits to transform your favorite Hot Bodies kits from nitro to electric so we have designed two all new conversion kits the M2C 8600 for the HB D815 and the M2C 8650 for the D812 and D8T. The mount is 3/8in wide and is made using 6061-T6 aluminum to give you a solid base and is anodized black for style. This mount also offers an additional anchor hole for additional support that you can put in yourself with the provided drills and countersink. The slide will allow you to have the option of running pinions from 14t to 23t. The slide mount is anchored with (2) 4mm button head screws in the top and (1) 3 mm screw in the bottom to give you a worry free mounting system. For convenience and ease of maintenance this mount has a split diff design allowing you to remove the diff without changing gear mesh.
