Serpent is about to release a superb new 1/8 scale onroad GP car, the Viper 988. 1/8 scale GP onroad is the class that started the Serpent company over 37 years ago. Designer Michael Salven has packed all his race and design experience in this new Viper 988!

The Viper 988 is a new platfom, using some well proven parts from the Viper 977 like tank, transmission, radiobox and some more items. The new Viper 988 car will be used at the upcoming IFMAR Worlds in France start september and the Viper 988 will be shipping at that same time! The Serpent drivers attending the WC have been enabled to obtain the new 988 cars before the WC, in order to prepare well.
