REDS Racing releases the "THREE 2.0" clutch system

  

  

 

REDS Racing is pleased to announce a new update for the 3 shoes “one touch” effortless clutch system: REDS THREE 2.0. The development of the new version 2.0 has affected the clutch shoes 7075 T6 which have been completely redesigned in order to improve the engine performance at low RPM and increase clutch life.

The new shoes are shorter, lighter and designed for engagement during the entire shoe stroke. The shoes are less sensitive to wear and as such life time is increased.

The clutch engages at higher RPM range, resulting in more controllable power during acceleration, while still maintaining good handling and performance on jumps.

The clutch can be adjusted tanks to the traditional combination of different springs and shoes. Three different types of springs are available, with a diameter of 0.9 – 1.0 - 1.1 mm, and two different types of shoes: the traditional aluminum 7075 shoes and the optional ones in carbon.
The configuration most used by our team is 2x Alu and 1x Carbon shoes with 1.1 mm springs. This configuration guarantees a higher acceleration and more consistent performance over time. This new clutch kit #MU0135/CA is available pre-assembled.
