PROTOform is taking aim at 1:12 Stock and SuperStock classes with our new 1:12 race body, the Strakka-12.
Modelled after an all-new racecar contending in the WEC series, the Strakka-12 is a reduced -downforce alternative to the ultra-successful AMR-12. This race body will help your 1:12 Stock or SuperStock car slip around the track efficiently without scrubbing too much all-important corner speed. Modified racers looking for a less downforce on super high grip tracks can also use the Strakka-12, attaching the add-on Gurney Flap marked out in the back of the body.
The Strakka-12 fits all EFRA,IFMAR, BRCA, ROARand JMRCA body specs. For the first time, PROTOform is offering this 1:12 body in both light weight .020” lexan for experts and regular weight .030” for novices. Like all PROTOform bodies, it comes with protective film and includes window masks and a decal sheet.
The Gen3-C is PROTOform's latest offering for the RC oval racer and enthusiast.
The NASCAR Nationwide Series has developed a car that is totally unique, with the nose and grill area reflecting more detail and brand identity than in previous years. The PROTOform Gen3-C even shares the "kicked-up" rear quarter panels seen on the 1:1 racers, increasing downforce without the penalty of an oversized spoiler. It also features an add-on blade spoiler and a double step splitter/spoiler on the front valance. The left side still features a bumped out area for added battery clearance and left side weight bias and the rear window/trunk rail has been enlarged just like the 1:1 racer.
The Gen3-C is produced with the best in quality .025 polycarbonate. It's equipped with spoiler mounting hardware, protective film, window masks and a decal sheet. This body will also fit most popular 200mm sedan chassis.
Use PROTOshine Lexan Body Cleaner to keep your PROTOform Race Bodies looking their best! Our low odor, specially-blended formula is great for removing scuffs, tire marks, dirt and other minor battle scars from a hard day at the track.
Just apply some PROTOshine onto a lint-free cloth and wipe the blemishes off your race body. Repeat as necessary. Do not use on painted surfaces or permanent marker.
