The 2015 ROAR 1/10 Electric Off-Road Nationals were held this past weekend at SRS/Hobby-Town USA Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona.
Team Orion would arrived at this years ROAR Nationals with there USA Super Star Team:
Team Orion USA Team Manager Joe Pillars was once again on hand in Phoenix to provide his excellent support for all Team Orion Drivers and Customers.
New for this year, Team Orion would debut there brand new line-up of Team Orion Vortex VST2 Light Weight Edition Motors for off-road. These LW Motors would prove key in helping improve the balance of each drivers cars and keep the motor temperatures noticeably lower by the extra cooling design on this extremely hi-traction surface.
Race Schedule:
2wd Modified Buggy
Team Orion Factory Driver Ryan Cavalieri would win the 3 way tie breaker with Phend & Rivkin to take the overall TQ in the 2wd Modified Buggy class!
Also in the A-Main Event for Team Orion was: Dakotah Phend starting 2nd, Jared Tebo 4th, Ryan Maifield 6th, & Ty Tessman 7th.
Team Orion's Ryan Cavalieri then went onto dominate A-Main #1 & A-Main #2, leading from tone to tone in each main event to take home his 1st ROAR National Championship of the weekend! Team Associated's young talent Spencer Rivkin would finish an impressive 2nd overall & Team Orion's Jared Tebo would round out the podium in 3rd!

4wd Modified Buggy
Team Orion Factory Driver Ryan Cavalieri was on another level during 4wd Modified Buggy qualifying and would secure his 2nd overall TQ!
Also in the A-Main Event for Team Orion was: Dakotah Phend starting 2nd, Ryan Maifield 4th, Ty Tessman 5th, & Jared Tebo 7th.
Team Orion's Ryan Cavaleri would win an exciting A-Main #1 after coming back from a small mistake in the early stages of the race. Then in A-Main #2, Cavalieri drove perfect to lead every lap and secure his 2nd ROAR National Championship of the weekend!
Team Orion would also sweep the podium with Dakotah Phend finishing 2nd overall and Ty Tessman 3rd overall!

Team Orion's Ryan Cavalieri made quick work of the competition in A-Main #1 & A-Main #2 to seal up his impressive 3rd ROAR National Championship of the weekend!
Team Orion would also sweep the podium in this class with Dakotah Phend finishing 2nd overall and Jared Tebo 3rd overall!

2wd Modified Short Course
Team Orion Factory Driver Ryan Cavalieri would make it a perfect sweep of qualifying by also taking the overall TQ in the 2wd Modified Short Course class!
Also in the A-Main Event for Team Orion was: Jared Tebo starting 3rd, Ryan Maifield 4th, Dustin Evans 7th, & Matt Chambers 8th.
Team Orion's Ryan Cavalieri would not be denied as he took full advantage of his TQ position and went onto take the Wins in A-Main #1 & A-Main #2 to take home his 4th ROAR National Championship of the weekend and completing the PERFECT SWEEP!
Team Associated's Spencer Rivkin would finish 2nd overall & Team Orion's Jared Tebo would again round out the podium to finish 3rd overall!
This would be the 3rd time in Ryan Cavalieri's impressive career where he has swept the ROAR 1/10 Electric Off-Road Nationals!

Kyosho's Tanner Day from Portland, Oregon went onto TQ & Win both the highly contested 2wd Stock Buggy & 2wd Stock Short Course ROAR National Championships using Team Orion's R10.1 Pro ESC & Team Orion 4500 100C Shorty Li-Po Batteries!
