Gillespie and Evans traded top victories at 28th annual April Fools Classic

A whopping 324 entries competed at the 28th annual April Fools Classic at Murph's Intermountain RC Raceway in Salt Lake City, UT last weekend, marking one of the largest and longest-running electric off-road racing events in the country. Racers from far outside the mountains of the western United States have attended the April Fools Classic in its nearly-three-decade history, but the fight for this year’s top titles came down to two drivers who’ve already enjoyed plenty of success on a much larger scale - 2011 Reedy Invitational champion Dustin Evans of Colorado, and hometown hero Rob Gillespie - the 2013 Reedy Race Open 4WD winner.
