Race report from Jerome Treignier:
This week-end was the 2nd round of the Quebec RC Series held in Charlevoix, north of Quebec City. With more than 80 entries the series is getting more popular every rounds. While some shower came during the day, Jerome Treignier and the RC Charlevoix crew well helped by some volunteers did a great job to clean the track and keep the program. A really technical track designed and builded by Levi Jackson from Sik Track Design.
In Nitro Buggy, the battle was tight for the Overall with a different TQ every round. At the end RC Concept driver Carl Boulianne took the TQ in front of AF Blanchette Mugen's and Jonathan Mongeau.
In the main Carl Boulianne took the early lead while Team AE Eric Deschenes was battling middle pack. With 10 mins to go Eric and Carl started to battle for the win. A great show by both drivers and at the end, Eric Deschenes took the win in front of Carl Boulianne and William St-Laurent.
In Ebuggy, Jerome Treignier took all 3 TQs followed by William St Laurent and Steve Seguin. Jerome continued his clean sweep by winning A1 by a lap and A2 to take the overall win.
In Nitro Truggy, Eric Deschenes took the overall TQ in front of RC Concept driver William St-Laurent.
In the main Eric took the advantage of his TQ to fly in the lead followed by Andre-Francois Blanchette and Carl Boulianne. Nevertheless a flameout after his 2nd pit stop destroy his advantage and And Francois came in the lead. With 10mins to go, AFB had an issues with a broken arm and Eric came back in the lead. with 6 mins to go Eric broke a front shock and Carl Boulianne came back to take the lead with 2 mins to go. At the line Carl took the win followed by Team Ae Eric deschenes and William St-Laurent.
In E-Truggy, Pascal Gélinas took all 3 rounds to take the overall TQ. Pascal also won both A1 and A2 to take the overall followed by Eric Raymond and Fred Laurin
