The 2016 JMRCA 1/10 EP Off-Road Nationals for 2wd & 4wd Buggy were held at the World Famous Yatabe Arena over the weekend!

Kyosho would arrive at this years JMRCA Nationals with a very strong team consisting of top drivers: Naoto Matsukura, Yusuke Sugiura, Kohta Akimoto, & Juriya Kajiwara!

The Kyosho team worked very well together all weekend with the main goal of adding 2 more JMRCA Championships!

2wd Modified Buggy

In the 2wd Modified Buggy class, it was Kyosho's Yusuke Sugiura taking the overall TQ with his RB6.6!

Sugiura would go onto take the convincing Wins in A-Mains #1 & #2 and secure the JMRCA 2wd Buggy National Championship!

Matsukura showed great speed in the finals, coming from the #6 starting position to finishing 2nd overall and on the podium with his Kyosho RB6.6!

Congrats also to Kohta Akimoto for finishing a very respectable 5th overall with his Kyosho RB6.6!

2wd Modified Buggy Top 3 Overall:

  1. Yusuke Sugiura (TQ) - Kyosho RB6.6
  2. Naoto Matsukura - Kyosho RB6.6
  3. Atsushi Hara - Yokomo

4wd Modified Buggy

In the 4wd Modified Buggy class, it was Kyosho's Naoto Matsukura putting in a great effort during qualifying to start 2nd on the grid with his ZX6.6!

Matsukura then showed his next level speed in A-Mains #1 & #2 where he would go onto take the Wins & secure the JMRCA 4wd Buggy National Championship!

Akimoto would run strong all weekend in the 4wd Buggy class to finish exactly where he qualified, in the 3rd position and on the podium with his Kyosho ZX6.6!

Congrats also to Yusuke Sugiura for finishing 5th overall with his ZX6.6 & Juriya Kajiwara making the A-Main & finishing 10th with his ZX6.6!

4wd Modified Buggy Top 3 Overall:

  1. Naoto Matsukura - Kyosho ZX6.6
  2. Kaito Kodera (TQ) - Yokomo
  3. Kohta Akimoto - Kyosho ZX6.6
