Double victory for Steenmans at RCX Challenge finale in South Africa, teammate Oelofse clinched buggy title

This week-end was the 4th round of the 2016 RCX Championship in Avion Raceway, South Africa.

The heat and humidity was really high making everything difficult for cars, engines and drivers.

In Nitro Buggy, RC Concept/TLR Dean Steegmans took the overall TQ over Tiaan Oelofse.

In the main Dean took the win over Tiaan, but it was enough for him to take the overall championship and be crowed 2016 RCX Champion in Nitro Buggy.

In Nitro Truggy, Dean also dominates the qualifications and took the overall win.

Here what Brandon Van Staden (RC Concept distributor in South Africa): "Well done to all our drivers! This weekend we only had one thing in mind it was the final RCX Challenge race at Avion Raceway and we went to this race with one mission, need I say we did more than just that. Dean Steenmans gave us the TQ in both Buggy & Truggy powered by the MC5R engines more than that he went on to win both classes! Well done Dean!

Congratulations to Tiaan Oelofse who came 2nd in the buggy class and secured the 2016 RCX Buggy championship. !
