WCRC Race Report:
Round #2 of the Super-Cross Series kicked off on Saturday morning at the world famous West Coast Raceway, with another stellar turnout! Racer’s from all over Southern California, Nevada & Arizona, packed the pit area to get their vehicles dialed in as soon as the doors opened. With spring break in full effect and Jimmy Babcock guest announcing, it was another awesome event to be at! The high bite clay track was put to the test, with controlled practice starting things off before the first round of 18 heats began at 2pm. We had racers returning from the just last weekend to prove themselves in each class and the racing did not disappoint!
After a full day of heated qualifiers, the main events were all business with some new class winners and other drivers repeating their round #1 wins. By the time the main events were done, all in attendance were stoked to have a smooth and fun day of racing, with podium photos to cap off another epic round of SX racing, West Coast – R/C style! West Coast Raceway would again like to thank all of its patrons, spectators and staff, for another incredible race day! We look forward to round #3 coming up next Saturday (April 6th), be sure to mark your calendar for another day of live AMA Super-Cross on the big screen TV’s and intense action on track itself! West Coast Raceway will have points maintained promptly after each event with podium photos available for viewing on its website, RCTech and Facebook page! Quite a few classes are going to go down to the last round with the top 5 in each class separated less than 3 points!!!
