Adam Drake wins at the Grass Roots Racing Series finals

This past weekend Thunder Alley hosted the final round of the Grass Roots Racing Series. The event had nearly 150 entries. The track was hard packed and very technical. Cody King TQ'ed round one of buggy, followed up by Adam Drake TQ'ing the second round. Rocket round scoring was in play, and Drake wasn't able to beat King's round one TQ time, and would start second on the grid.

As the final got under way King and Drake would battle back and forth, never stretching more than a few seconds apart, until Cody would run out of fuel with only two laps to go. Adam Drake would go on to win the race with Matt Schreffler and Cody King finishing out the top three.
