Our friends at RC-Area from across the pond hosted the "RC-Area 1:10 Electric Masters" this past weekend! The event was held at Storm Valley Raceway, and featured an American style layout, and some great racing!
RC-Area Race Report:
This past weekend Storm Valley Raceway played host to RC-Area's 1:10 Electric Masters event which took place on their indoor US style dirt track! With two rounds of practice, 4 qualifying runs and bump up finals the 25 drivers in attendance had plenty of track time to compete for victory during this one day event. Qualifying in the 2WD class went to X Factory star Richard Lowe with 4WD going to Birthday boy and AE/CML Boot Camp driver Mitchell Booth! Not one to disappoint, Richard Lowe put his A1 position into good use and claimed overall victory ahead of Ross Barras and Ashlee Owen who completed the 2WD podium. A clean win in 4WD meant that birthday boy Mitchell Booth had even more of a reason to celebrate after he finished ahead of teammate Ryan Lawrence and Leigh Richardson!
