2013 Outsiders Radio Control Cup - Stage 2 race report
Last weekend was the second stage of the 2013 Outsiders Radio Control Cup held in Rio de Jeneiro, Brazil. The event was made up of shortcourse, electric buggy and "open" classes. Beautiful weather and sunshine made for a gorgeous day of racing at the Barra Offroad R/C facility! [ read more ]
   

 
Dominic Peters is the winner of the 2013 Schumacher / SAR Youth Award Program
A unique racing program has been born in Ontario, Canada with the help of Sutton Aviation Raceway's (SAR), Billy Sutton. The Wicked Weekend was held in Gainesville, GA. An event put on by the same guys as the Pyscho Nitro Blast but held at a different location. There were over 380 entries with the biggest class being 1/8 ebuggy! Factory Tekin driver Barry Pettit Tq'd the class and won all three A-mains! [ read more ]

Miguel Matias leads a TLR sweep at the 2013 Portuguese 1:8 Nationals
Team Losi Racing drivers, Miguel Matias and Ricardo Monteiro dominate the 2013 Portuguese Nationals. Miguel took the overall win with Ricardo finishing 2nd giving Team Losi Racing and the 8IGHT 3.0 a 1-2 sweep of the podium. Both drivers used Spektrum radios and servos to pilot their vehicles to this dominating performance. In the Junior Category, Joao Lopes won the overall with his Team Losi Racing 8IGHT 3.0 controlled by Spektrum. [ read more ]
 

Kyle Inman wins at the WDRA Summer Dirt Oval Nationals
In the late model class, it was Kyle Inman taking TQ, followed by Tom Rogers. When the tone went off to start the 55 lap A-main, Inman dashed out front with Matt Steffenhagen quickly moving from the 5th position to run second. After a mishap mid way, Steffenhagen would battle back through the field and eventually overtake Rogers for second. When the race was over, it was Inman, Steffenhagen, and Rogers on the podium. All three racers chose the PROTOform Cyclone 9.5 Late Model Body. [ read more ]

Roland Strom takes Hot Bodies to Swedish National Championship victory
There have been a lot of changes in the lineup at Hot Bodies recently, but one thing that hasn't changed is their ability to win races. Team driver, Roland Strom, celebrates with the team as he was able to take the HB R10 to victory last weekend claiming the 2013 Swedish 200mm Nitro Touring Car National Championship. [ read more ]

Anthony took the TQ and the win for both A-Main events with his Pro-Line equipped TLR SCTE 2.0. Anthony used the Suburbs tires in the M3 compound to power his way to the front of the pack! X Factory sponsors stock buggy and truck at the Hobby Haven Offroad Shootout
Kevin Van Ert and eight-year-old Mason Fuller were the winners of X Factory carbon fiber Conversion Kits at the 2013 Hobby Haven Shoot-Out held over labor Day weekend in Des Moines, Iowa. As a big supporter of the average club racer, X Factory awarded the Kits to the highest finishing non-sponsored driver in the stock buggy and stock truck classes. [ read more ]
 

 
Kristopher Bolin with a double victory at B and T R/C Central
Pro-Line team driver Kristopher Bolin did a great job this past weekend at B&T R/C Central. He won the 2wd Mod Buggy and 13.5 SCT classes for their 50/50 payout race! After a heavy rain storm midway through the day, the track crew worked hard to get the track back in shape, where Bolin's Holeshot tires would take him to victory. [ read more ]
