This past weekend the HobbyTown USA Hobbyplex in Omaha, Nebraska hosted the 2013 Byron Fuels Offroad Challenge event. HobbyPlex's track building guru, Alex Sturgeon, did an awesome job with a very technical 1:8 scale layout which included a fast straight, big jumps, a rhythm section, plus some tight turns and the make or break "cork screw" that kept drivers on there toes every lap.

Team Associated / Novak / JConcepts driver Jason Hills was in attendance running both E-Buggy and E-Truggy. Hills walked away from the field with a dominating performance in the E-Truggy class. In E-Buggy he was faced with some stiff competition from the rest of the field, a total of five full heats. The young AE driver put together a 7th place overall in qualifying, and making the show.

As the tone sounded for the A-Mains he would go on to finish second in A1, a first in A2, and a solid one lap victory in A3 securing the overall win!

Jason's Team Associated vehicles were equipped with JConcepts tires, Reedy batteries, and Novak Ballistic8/Activ8 power house allowing him to return home victorious!
